[AirPods Pro: Turn The World Into A Playground]
Apple has just released an energetic and joyful Ad. They attractively shot their product, AirPods Pro, showing a man strolling and jumping around the neighborhood. The ad itself was created by Media Art Labs and got titled “Jump”. The noise-cancellation and secure fit feature are the main spotlights as the man was shown navigating the streets as objects turn into jump ropes. This ad aims to tell the audience about the man lose himself in the music but at the same time he can easily overcome the obstacles by jumping and running with the AirPods.
The ad is only around one minute long but it represents the advantages and new features of AirPods Pro in a seamless and fun way. The ad extends into a social campaign with an AR filter from Snapchat that uses the app’s full-body tracking feature and makes users play with a virtual jump rope. The TikTok hashtag challenge also stimulates fans to participate in the campaign.
The new ad can be compared to the other campaign released by Apple “Bounce” which also showed a suited-man jumping in a street that seems like a trampoline. As he turned on his music using Airpods, every street and building became a huge trampoline–highlighting on how music can take people to another world. But now, Apple is focusing on how AirPods Pro’s Active Cancellation Mode reduces noise from the external environment. Apple says, “Turn the world into your playground with AirPods Pro” and this ad certainly shows someone doing just that with AirPods Pro.
