Hello Optimist People!
We are back again with KaMIST! Every week on Thursday we’re going to give you an insight about marketing.
Pepsi is said to be leaving Indonesia. Based on the PepsiCo spokesperson’s approval issued by the media crew, PT Anugerah Indofood Barokah Makmur (AIBM) and PepsiCo.Inc (PepsiCo) tried to conduct trade transactions.
The decision to withdraw seems to be based upon business reasons, as long-time rivals Coca-Cola have been said to expand their busniess horizon in Indonesia.
Pepsi hopes to once again penetrate Indonesia’s market by bringing in favorites such as Pepsi, Mirinda, 7up, and Mountain Dew.
Until now CNBC Indonesia is still trying to confirm with the Director of PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk, the parent company of PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk, Franciscus Welirang.
