The OG red colours have been drained from the Arsenal kit, but why?
Arsenal played with no red colors on their kit for the first time in Sunday’s FA Cup Third-round game against Nottingham Forest as part of Adidas No More Red and anti-knife crime campaign launch. The Gunners wore a custom all-white kit for the first time at the City Ground.

When it came to juvenile homicides in London last year, Arsenal have seen a recent peak, and genuine action is the only way for them to make a real difference in this situation.
‘No More Red’ is an Arsenal Community initiative that aims to raise awareness about the issue of knife crime among youth in London and provide safe spaces for young people to play around. The campaign also educates young people about staying safe while living their harmonious life.

The campaign was announced on Friday, January 6, 2022. While the campaign
launched, Wright said: “Every young person deserves the opportunity to express themselves. The opportunity to exist within a safe environment. The opportunity to live free from fear of violence”.
This campaign’s objective is basically to remind us that we shouldn’t normalize and accept the loss of life through youth violence. Hence, the ‘No More Red’ initiative ought to lead all people to work together to create a better environment for young people.
As a final point, the campaign’s goal is to provide young people with more opportunities to participate in sports, as well as more access to resources and role models who may serve as sources of inspiration. Together, we could make the world a better place, even in every little aspect of our lives.
